Ateliers, shared workplaces and storerooms are available again!

ATELIER at the Gantelstraat 14

The building on the Gantelstraat is a former shed where study books were sorted and is particularly suitable for woodworkers and artists who make large works. The building has a spacious shared workshop where machines are available for shared use. The availability of this workshop is included in the rent. It also has a spacious entrance with rolling door and an elevator. In addition to work spaces, this building also has several storage rooms.

ATELIER in the HBS at 's Gravendijkwal

In the heart of Rotterdam on the 's Gravendijkwal is a monumental school building.

Here, together with GROUDS and Dansateliers, SKAR is building a new breeding ground for creators, creative entrepreneurs and cultural organisations, starting with music and dance. The HBS building offers space to a new generation of makers, from different backgrounds and with an open and inquisitive attitude as a common denominator. The community focuses primarily on makers who have passed the stage of 'talent'. In Rotterdam a great deal is being invested in talent development, but due to a lack of opportunities some of the makers are leaving. The HBS offers space and a stimulating atmosphere to develop yourself further, to connect, to learn from each other and to enter into new collaborations.

Shared WORKPLEK on fourth floor at Stadshuisplein

For anyone looking for a friendly, creative, open space in the centre of Rotterdam, there is currently an opportunity to become a member of the Rotterdam Collective.

RoCo is an association of creatives and entrepreneurs, including writers, filmmakers, editors, graphic designers and architects. For ten years now, we have been located on the 4th floor of the building on the Stadhuisplein. It is a large, open space. Each member has their own office or unit in the workspace and everyone plays a role in the organisation. This creates a unique sense of community. All members can benefit from a good workplace here.

A membership is for a minimum of three months. New members are admitted after a visit to the workplace and a letter of introduction to the current members. Members can get a permanent desk from €124,- per month.

Shared OFFICE/WORKPLAY at the Insulindestraat

There are 11 workshops in this old building. It has been owned by SKAR since 2003. The building has two entrances on the street side and is surrounded by houses. The building is close to the Hofbogen in Rotterdam North, which is currently undergoing complete redevelopment.

As of 1 February Jeroen Hoogstraten is looking for someone who wants to share two studio spaces with him.

"I mainly make work for the public space. I use the studio downstairs as a workshop to build prototypes and to carry out small-scale projects. In the studio upstairs I receive people and work on paper and with the computer.

I'm looking for someone who also makes things on occasion and especially likes to share a space".
