Have you seen the offer page on the SKAR website?

The complete studio offers can be found on the website and are updated monthly. You will still receive a notification from us via email when new studios are available.

You can respond to the current offer until Monday, April 4 via this link. Please note: you can still only respond if you are admitted to the candidate list or are already renting at SKAR. It is possible to respond to multiple studios.

Viewings will be organised after 4 April. Interested parties will receive an email about this.

Atelier available in the Drievriendenstraat

This location near Central Station houses 28 studios. The former school building is owned by SKAR. Various disciplines are represented in these classical studio spaces. Underneath the building is a small theatre, Podium OCW, where performances take place on a regular basis.

Workplaces in IJsselmonde for creative starters

The Berkenwoudestraat is an ideal location to start your own professional practice as a creative maker. And to start as a tenant at SKAR.
Also as a collective of makers, there are many possibilities at this location because of the various individual or collective spaces on offer. There is already a small community at work in this building - from musicians to artists - who are open to collaboration, to learning from each other and growing together.

If that's what you want too, this might be the perfect place for you.

Food and art incubator on Veldkersweg

On the northern edge of Rotterdam, in a wonderfully quiet location between a park and a small industrial estate, SKAR is developing workplaces for food artists and designers. This is happening in a former office building from the 1980s. Spaces are available immediately in this new hub for food innovators and artists: VELD_KERS.

VELD_KERS is the first place where an artistic-cultural approach to food, development, production and art comes together. Where artists, designers, thinkers, developers and producers of food and food systems meet, work together and make an impact. Where production takes place. Where learning can take place through experimentation. Where you can eat food in the place where it is developed. The link between art and food is a prerequisite for renting a space on Veldkersweg.
