Dear tenant, dear tenant
Now, after weeks of lockdown, I hear more and more how people are arming themselves against the consequences of the corona crisis. Not least artists and creatives in Rotterdam. While attention is rightly focused on care, and we are gaining new insights into our collective behaviour, I see pearls passing by, initiatives and projects that link resilience to innovation. Even corona can't stop creativity, as it turns out.
That's encouraging, and it's time to pay attention to that. That's what we're going to do in the next few weeks. Esther Muñoz Grootveld of De Wasserij will take the lead, with her blog.
And: the Minister of Culture (Van Engelshoven) has just announced that she is looking for solutions for the cultural sector, and that she is not looking for them within the culture budget; that too, for the time being, is encouraging.
