PB3 - in process

As part of the Rotterdam Art Week, Broedplaats Putsebocht presents the project PB3 - in process. PB3 is a creative incubator in the former Bloemhofschool at Putsebocht 3 in Rotterdam South, run by SKAR. Over 20 young makers, all alumni of the Willem de Kooning and the Piet Zwart Institute, have their workspace here.

The core of PB3- in process. is an exhibition around the work of nine young makers from the building. They represent a wide variety of disciplines and methods and the exhibition gives an insight into their practices. Each artist is highlighted individually, but thanks to their own exhibition design, coherence is created. Special attention will be paid to the local residents and children of the neighbourhood with a walk-in coffee morning on Friday mornings from 10:00.

Participants in the group exhibition are: Laura van de Wijdeven (Atelier LVDW), Fabienne Hendriks (Zero Teen Art), Juliette Gilson, Bart Kodde, David van Slooten, Gina Borsje (Beest8), Wietske Lutgendorff (Glow Up Neon), Emmy Vollaard, and Nanco Speur.

This group exhibition is made possible by Cultuur Concreet.
Location: Putsebocht 3, on view from Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 May: 10.00-19.00 hrs.
