The first Corona jobs have been completed

In March, soon after the announcement of the Corona measures, we offered that those who run into financial difficulties as a result of those measures can continue to pay their rent. Many of you have signed up for this. In the meantime, we can report that the first big job has been done: storerooms have been built in the basement of the Laundry. We are happy with the result, and happy that we were able to do this with you - not only did we get good storage rooms, but also some financial rest - for some even three months rent. After the summer, in September, we start the next job, painting.

We also notice that the demand for studios is still unabated. Fortunately, workshops are becoming available again - in this newsletter you will find some offers.

For now: a pleasant holiday for those who go, and a good summer for all!

Spot op Zuid is a collective of independent performing artists based in the Van Langendonckstraat 15A.

About tenant maintenance

And then there's this:
The maintenance of your studio is divided between SKAR and the tenant. In our newsletter of March 2020 we already paid extensive attention to this. We will continue to inform you about this subject in our newsletters.

SKAR takes care of the major maintenance. This is the maintenance of the studio building in general, including outdoor painting, the roof and the boiler.

You take care of the small maintenance and daily maintenance in your workshop. By small daily maintenance you mean, for example, the interior painting of your studio and the repair of a tap leather. You will also take care of repairs to damage you have caused yourself. Costs resulting from negligence or careless use are always for the account of the tenant.

Always report defects in your workshop immediately, so that action can be taken for repairs and worse problems can be prevented. You can mail your fault report to onderhoud@skar-ateliers.nl, send a Whatsapp-message or call: 010 4127828.
