Soundport on the Keilestraat focuses entirely on music. The former warehouse of Chefaro in the M4H area houses 21 music studios. The studios are well isolated and intended for professional musicians to make music, arrange and record. SKAR has owned the property since 2014.
Musicians with different disciplines are in the building: jazz, funk, Latin, pop. A number of organizations are located here: Studio SanteBoutique, Keyframe Productions, Watch That Sound and Thrilling Sound Productions.
Soundport opened in 2010. At that time it was the first large permanent work location in Rotterdam that focused entirely on music.
