Koraalstraat 17

Ateliers Koraalstraat is characterized by the diversity of mainly autonomous artists who work there. There are painters, draughtsmen, a photographer, sculptors and more conceptual/researching artists in the building. A number of them teach at the Willem de Kooning Academy or at Ateliers Koraalstraat itself. Some exhibit in museums or are represented by galleries selling their work at (inter)national fairs.

Marina Radius

Marina Radius (1953) makes oil paintings and sculptures in bronze and stone.
The style is figurative, and the refined finish requires a labour-intensive way of working.
Favourite theme is the animal, but also still lifes and -sometimes some magical landscapes are part of her work.
In addition to free work, she often makes commissioned portraits of people and animals; horses and dogs are her speciality.
In the 80's she taught at various drawing and painting clubs; at the moment she occasionally gives private lessons.
Since 1975 her work has been exhibited regularly at home and abroad.
